Direct fitment conversion kit for our brand synchro straight cut gears.
DOES NOT WORK WITH ANY OTHER BRAND OR OEM GEARS
If you have purchase our straight cut synchro gears before, it can now be converted to dog style gears. Increasing speed and strength in shifting with big engagement window with only 5 big teeth.
It can handle no lift shifts with use of strain gauge to cut ignition to unload drivetrain to shift without clutch when racing only.
Improper or poor settings or user error of strain gauge will cause damage to engagement system and will need do be replaced..
Normal driving must require to use clutch.
Improper setup will damage dog teeth.
Install
Will need to remove the synchro engagement from gears, install dog ring on gear 1 and gear 2 with step facing to gear side. Install ring spacer on top of gear cone. Install provided hub and slider with shim on top gear 1.
Remove synchro engagement from gear 3 and 4 and install correct dog rings and provided hub and slider.
Complete gearset will need to have shimming redone on both assembly stacks. Looser clearance and endplay is more acceptable on stacks. Mainshaft endplay 0.008 to 0.010.
